A Dialogue on Foreign Policy

The Minister's report on the Dialogue is available now on this web site.

On January 22, 2003, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bill Graham, issued the paper A Dialogue on Foreign Policy and asked Canadians to help shape the direction, priorities and choices for Canada in the world. The deadline for submitting suggestions was May 1, 2003. You can read the answers and forum messages from many citizens on this web site.

On June 27, 2003, Minister Graham released a report summarizing what he had heard in the Dialogue. The views of citizens and others who participated will inform the thinking of the Minister and his Department at DFAIT as policy is developed in the days and weeks to come. Thank you for your interest in the Foreign Policy Dialogue.
