Which values and interests bear most fundamentally on Canada's foreign policy? How can Canada's foreign policy better reflect the concerns and priorities of Canadians?

I value peace and justice above all, and I think Canadian foreign policy should make diplomacy, participation in the UN and related international organizations and foreign aid its priorities. Canadian Citizens abroad should be protected by Human Rights laws.
Freedom of beliefs should be protected as long as belief does not bring harm to others.
Hate literature should not be accepted especially when it comes from foreign countries.

I believe that Canada is seen as a peaceful country, and one that helps other less fortunate countries. We supply food, security, health etc. to other countries around the world.
