What should Canada do to help make the benefits of globalization more widely shared within and among all countries?

I have yet to see "wonderful" benefits of globalization. Benefits for whom - other than multinational corporations. I agree with many of the cautions that Maude Barlow notes from her meetings around the globe.
The thing that scares me the most is another "MAI-like" situation may arise where "the powers that be" will be persuaded to allow foreign investment and for-profit ownership within our health care system. The public good is not served by private, for-profit health care. How long will it take some people to see this???
Look at the impact of NAFTA on public education and the changes in our relationship with the USA...do we want more of this. Caution, please.
