| Presently, cultural and religious differenced are used to foster war-for profits agendas. When one actually visits a foreign country and sees its people plainly and simply...religious and cultural differences are minimized. When others of foreign nationality or faith are befriended, we no longer see these individuals as a threat. The fear that is instilled within North Americans by misleading media presentations ... could easily be transformed to understanding and compassion by actually visiting and coming to know other citizens of developing nations. Remember how 'Hogan's Heroes' had us thinking that German soldiers were just plain stupid! Well that is what I see going on daily with the promotion of this war on terrorism which our corporately controlled media propagates on the unaware masses daily. Let us use our media sevices instead to promote friendship and respect among different faiths and cultures on this planet. |
