This is not really as true today. With extensive TV coverage from both sides we can be much more informed today. The problem lies in being able to discern the truth. We must encourage more people to get involved and seek the real truth. It does not come from listening to only one side of an issue.
One must go far beyond facts we get from the media which always tend to favour and point out the pros on one side extensively. I have found the internet a very useful tool to seek information and a better understanding of the issues on both sides. I still have much to learn. This discussion group has given me insight to seek for more information. thank you to those on either side of the issues
