Should Canada seek out opportunities for fostering global intercultural dialogue and interfaith understanding?

Answer:
Yes. Intercultural and interfaith understanding is of utmost importance in today's environment. Cultural boundaries should continue to fall and multiculturalism should predominate in the long term. Religious differences that exist have been or are created by fundamentalist and radical groups. In essence all religions predicate the same values and when one reads the Koran alongside the Holy Bible thi scan be appreciated. Whether one believes or not in some of the ideas and thesis oultined by Samuel Huntington in "The Clash of Civilisations" there are many points that are raised that should draw our attention. Canada should promote greater understanding on a global level.
