Answer:
It is the duty of the wealthy to care for the poor. This is not a question of merit, but of positioning and humanity. Those of us born in wealthy nations have a duty to assist those born in poor nations. It IS that simple. We have advantages and opportunities not afforded to others. Globalization requires a broader and more comprehensive understanding of the situations in other countries, the standards of life, and the differing qualities of life. We must equalize the playing field while wiping out injustices and abuses.

If we do not use our wealth wisely, it may be taken from us.
