Individual Canadians not MPs,so-called leaders of the community, experts or government employees are the best exporters of the value of CHOICE.
Promotion of exchanges of individual Canadians, both youth and those retired, with countries where Canada wishes to make a difference, should be supported. Exchanges should be a major approach to promoting Canadian values aboard. Rather than accept a thousand dollars for his school a Pakistani educator told me that he'd rather take his students for one day to a village 50 miles away where farming was done "better".
If Canadian life is so good, let's develop a program that exposes those unable to see Canada otherwise, to our way of living. |
