Policy Talk

One of the major needs identified for the English-speaking community in Quebec is to create community-driven policy to respond to the needs that the communities face. Welcome to an area for discussion on policy issues that are currently affecting or may affect in the future the vitality of the English-speaking communities of Quebec. Any member of the website will be able to start or contribute to already existing forums that debate different topics. We look forward to your contribution and participation on this section s of the website.

QCGN

The Quebec Community Groups Network is a not-for-profit organization bringing together 32 English language community organizations across Quebec for the purposes of supporting and assisting the development and enhancing the vitality of the English-speaking minority communities.

CIRLM / ICRML

The Canadian Institute for Research on Linguistic Minorities (CIRLM) is an independent non-profit organization whose mission is to promote research and data collection on issues that are vital to Canada's official language communities.

QUESCREN / RRCQEA

Established in October 2008, the Quebec English-speaking Community Research Network (QUESCREN) is a joint initiative of Concordia’s School of Extended Learning (SEL) and the Canadian Institute for Research on Linguistic Minorities dedicated to developing research capacity related to Quebec’s English-speaking communities.
