Proxiris
Working with Concordia University, and supported by a MITACS grant, Proxiris is a web-based workgroup annotation tool that parses diverse research documents, and uses a "team" of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) agents to extract and classify discrete data.

Working with eQualit.ie, proposed and developed a robust network to defend human rights and independant media against distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks.

Virtual Clinic and related projects
Working with the Centre for Global eHealth Innovation and related agencies, communication, public engagement and clinical access web applications have been developed. Emphasis is on usability and appropriate interfaces for participants, whether they are patients, caregivers, health care professionals, administrators, using iterative, user centered processes.
A re-usable and supportable software base was developed based on fine-grained open source components, which includes a flexible import-export system that allows hands on participation of team members and rapid prototyping.

Foreign Policy Dialogue
Working with our academic partners and the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Systems for People provided technical coordination and led development to help create Canada's first national consultation on foreign policy. The site featured topical content, an interactive dialogue paper, and moderated, threaded discussion forums. This project received the National award for e-government at the World Summit on the Information Society in Geneva in 2003. By the end of the project, the site had logged:
